Northern Drakensberg
A series of 6 zip lines that go from tree to tree, accessed from a mountain platform set above the park. Guide operated braking system makes the experience family friendly and exceptionally fast, reaching speeds of up to 60km per hour.
Children from age 5 are welcome. Small children ride in tandem with the guide so it’s great for the whole family.
Platform 1 is built into the side of a hill, so there is no scary climb to get there. Harnesses are put on at the reception and guests take a 10 minute walk to the first platform. You can expect spans of up to 240 meters between the platforms. Most of the slides are visible from the Adventure Centre, so members of the party not on the tour can still be part of the action. Groups larger than 8 can be accommodated using two sets of guides. Drinks on return are included in the ticket price.
