All Out Adventures offers unique team building opportunities at our one of a kind Northern Drakensberg venue. Spectacularly situated on a 1000ha mountain estate featuring extraordinary activities, the Adventure Centre offers limitless scope for Team Building.

From the personal Challenge elements accessed by our 20 meter high spiral stair case, to problem solvers requiring input from the whole team, activities ensure that participants remain actively engaged and challenged for the duration of the programs. Our Staff commitment to sharing extraordinary experiences with all participants ensure that everyone comes away with a new appreciation for themselves and for each other.

THE ALL OUT ADVENTURE CHALLENGE

Full Day: R880 per person (lunch and mineral waters)

Ideal for team after an action packed day of High Adventure achievable by just about everyone. The Challenge takes place at the All Out Adventure Centre, centrally located to all the Northern Berg resorts.

Groups are divided into smaller teams that complete a course of team and personal challenge activities. Team activities are brain teasers that require lateral thinking and close team work to complete. Personal Challenge elements include an exhilarating two stage cable ride, and the thrilling King Swing, both accessed by a dramatic spiral stair case that goes to the top of a 20 meter pine tree. Participants also try their hand at quad biking, target shooting and flying trapeze. Points are allocated for activities completed adding an air of friendly competition to keep everyone focused!

Because there will be more elements than teams, it is unlikely that any of the teams will have to wait around for another team to complete the activity. This results in a smooth flowing event where participants remained engaged for the duration the event.

The full day includes a Hikers Box Lunch, and a choice for team members between the Cross Country Cable Tour and Scenic Quad Bike Outride as detailed below:

CROSS COUNTRY CABLE TOUR

An exhilarating ride along a series of 6 zip line cables suspended 20 meters above the ground. Your guides escort you on an easy 12 minute walk to Platform One. From here you ride in a seat harness on a series of ten ton cables between platforms 20m above the forest floor. Guide operated braking systems ensure you a smooth and safe landing on each platform.

SCENIC QUAD OUTRIDE

A stunning quad experience, which includes a briefing and a scenic guided outride along the 6km River Trail. The trail covers a range of exciting terrain, including a river crossing and hill climb. It is a great introduction to quads for new riders, without being too dull for those with some experience. The experience lasts approximately 45 minutes.

This Challenge is perfect for groups that prefer less high flying and more problem solving.

Once again the group will be divided into several smaller teams (or Tribes). Tribes compete over a course of problem solving challenge elements to gather the maximum points in the allotted time. Each challenge will focus on a character trait that contributes to an effective business – such as creativity, trust or communication. Participants will need to employ these characteristics to succeed at the given task. The Zip Line is included for the adventurous members of the group, but participation is optional.

Big drums, African masks, festive ethnic music all add to the atmosphere of the event.

This program is aimed at groups wanting a less structured program.

Guests visit the All Out Adventure Centre, centrally located to all Northern Berg resorts, for a relaxed morning or afternoon of high Adventure! Here we make a number of activities available, and guests can create their own program.

On arrival each guest will be issued with 5 tickets and they can then choose what activities they would like to complete. Each activity will require a certain number of tickets. We will have limited space on the Quad outride and Cable tour, so advance booking is recommended for that. It also works well to put people in teams for paintball in advance. The rest of the activities are set up and ready to go so guests can choose on the day.

Paintball -Capture the Flag (2 tickets)

In our forested arena. Includes protective clothing, masks and semi automatic guns and 100 paintballs

King Swing (1 ticket)

A thrilling climb up a 20m spiral stair case to the top of a pine tree followed by a breath taking traverse of 2 suspension bridges before the hair raising jump out of the tree tops from a 17 meter platform.

Zip Line (1 ticket)

The same breathtaking climb to the top of the forest canopy to a 20 meter platform where participants are harnessed to a cable for a 2 part 300 meter high speed ride. Harnesses worn by all participants for the duration of the experience.

Bungee Bounce (1 ticket)

A spectacular four way trampoline and bungee system where participants are harnessed in and winched up above the trampoline, enabling them to jump extremely high and safely perform awesome acrobatic feats! (5 minute session)

Flying Trapeze (1 ticket)

Fly on South Africa’s only commercially operated Flying Trapeze in the security of a safety belt under expert instruction. More daring participants have the opportunity to attempt a knee hang and catch the “ice cream bar” to win a free ice cream!
